Gustavo Gustavson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Stanimir Rashkov showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 13 minute of play. In the 16th minute, Amauri Romero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the game, Stanimir Rashkov cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Gustavo Gustavson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 21st minute Claudinho Terra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haralampi Kúrkelanov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored New Joinville - FSCMZ's protests and gave Xande Koeman a yellow card for diving instead. Xande Koeman kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Avgust Garov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudinho Terra took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haralampi Kúrkelanov. Haralampi Kúrkelanov dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. New Joinville - FSCMZ's Gustavo Gustavson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save New Joinville - FSCMZ from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinho Terra to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of VN SOKOLI-VARNA booed when New Joinville - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xande Koeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd match minute, VN SOKOLI-VARNA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanimir Rashkov to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of New Joinville - FSCMZ booed when VN SOKOLI-VARNA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanimir Rashkov didn't get a good kick on the ball. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's Haralampi Kúrkelanov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hugo Favoretto in the 75th minute of play. Gustavo Gustavson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanimir Rashkov's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. A collision led to New Joinville - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Hugo Favoretto hit a great ball. In the 85th minute Stanimir Rashkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustavo Gustavson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Claudinho Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Haralampi Kúrkelanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 97 minutes into the game, Hugo Favoretto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Haralampi Kúrkelanov. Hugo Favoretto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-3. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
