In the 11th minute Hortêncio Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Mitnarotov FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Olo came free, but Almir Miranda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Angel Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hortêncio Sena in the 14th minute. The supporters of Mitnarotov FC booed when Argon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodoro Bieito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Claudinei Sergipano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angel Lopes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Argon's Aristides Olo in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mitnarotov FC's goalie prevented a goal. Angel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Sílvio Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angel Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hortêncio Sena in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Argon's goalkeeper Angel Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hortêncio Sena. Argon's Angel Lopes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Argon from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Walmir Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Angel Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 54th minute, Sílvio Dantas made a precise shot to the right of Angel Lopes. Argon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. 59 minutes into the match, Argon's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Dantas came free, but Angel Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Sena in the 60th minute of play forced Argon's goalkeeper Angel Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Angel Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Couto in the 65th minute of the match. 67 minutes into the match, Germano Siqueira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angel Lopes. Argon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Germano Siqueira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Angel Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hortêncio Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Angel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Sena in the 73rd minute of play. Sílvio Dantas scored 6-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angel Lopes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Sena took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Angel Lopes. Angel Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. After some careless play in the Argon defense, Hortêncio Sena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Lopes. The Argon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Lopes should have stopped the shot. When Mitnarotov FC's Hortêncio Sena in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Argon's goalie prevented a goal. Walmir Quintal struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Angel Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mitnarotov FC. After some careless play in the Argon defense, Noel Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angel Lopes. The Argon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angel Lopes should have stopped the shot. Angel Lopes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hortêncio Sena in the 94th minute of play. When Noel Couto fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mitnarotov FC's protests and gave Noel Couto a yellow card for diving instead. When the referee ended the match the Mitnarotov FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
