Barcellos Mineiro FC's Vânderson Saa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hugo in the 14th minute of play. Aurel Crivoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celsinho Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Celsinho Corrêa sped through Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurel Crivoi. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celsinho Corrêa in the 22nd minute of play forced Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dale Dolar got free with Aurel Crivoi in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barcellos Mineiro FC were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arí Paraibano took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Arí Paraibano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Aurel Crivoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Hector Hugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the match, Barcellos Mineiro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hugo came free, but Vânderson Saa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Crivoi made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Dale Dolar sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK booed when Barcellos Mineiro FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amílton Loyola didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute, Hector Hugo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hector Hugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vânderson Saa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hector Hugo in the 42nd minute of the match. Amílton Loyola made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Arí Paraibano. Radul Kokalov hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. In the 48th match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radul Kokalov to maneuver through the defense. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Barcellos Mineiro FC's Radul Kokalov managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edwin Uter in the 53 minute of the game. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Hector Hugo got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Dale Dolar notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 84 minutes into the game, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Bernt Offendahl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vânderson Saa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Dolar, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. Vânderson Saa was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marius Neset showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 96 minute of play. Barcellos Mineiro FC made a substitution. Gojko Bešlić replaced Celsinho Corrêa.
