Jairo de Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Frank Kvick made a huge save. The supporters of Macoma Yoldia booed when Taraps IF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Patrik Anselius didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jairo de Andrade got free with Frank Kvick in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute of the match, Jairo de Andrade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Frank Kvick was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 18th match minute, Taraps IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stellan Jansson to maneuver through the defense. Jairo de Andrade came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Frank Kvick could save by the left post. In the 33rd minute of the match Macoma Yoldia got a corner. Taraps IF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sakarias Asklöv ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sakarias Asklöv got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Frank Kvick quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Erland Österberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charles Beckeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Juhlin in the 35th minute of play forced Taraps IF's goalkeeper Frank Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute, Ingvar Vestberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Charles Beckeman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Juhlin in the 54th minute of play forced Taraps IF's goalkeeper Frank Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frank Kvick having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kent Juhlin in the 58th minute of play forced Taraps IF's goalkeeper Frank Kvick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Charles Beckeman in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erland Österberg saved Macoma Yoldia from getting behind. Tommy Söderqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Frank Kvick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo de Andrade, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 68th minute, Joachim Andreasson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97thth minute of the game Kent Juhlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Taraps IF's Frank Kvick was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kent Juhlin in the 98th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Kvick saved Taraps IF from getting behind. Macoma Yoldia's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
