Glauco Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Adolskiy, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Amadeu Furlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fernando Furlan got free with Édouard Mendy in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Eugênio Perez got a free kick in the 17th minute. After having played for 20 minutes, Luiz Fernando Furlan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crisólia FBPA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luiz Fernando Furlan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Fabrício Brunovskis fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Al-Fajuth's protests and gave Fabrício Brunovskis a yellow card for diving instead. When Régis Vides came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Al-Fajuth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Régis Vides couldn't finish the play. Crisólia FBPA's Glauco Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Timeteo Pinto in the 31st minute of play. Édouard Mendy was a little too slow when Clóvis da Rocha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Crisólia FBPA's zone, Cruz Adolskiy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Glauco Marinho came out of the goal and Cruz Adolskiy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 45 minutes, Édouard Mendy successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 46th match minute, Al-Fajuth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agostinho Guedes to maneuver through the defense. 47 minutes in the game, Eugênio Perez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Édouard Mendy having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Luiz Fernando Furlan made the kick off in the second half. Narciso da Costa struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Édouard Mendy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Crisólia FBPA. In the 59th minute, Rômulo Soares hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Al-Fajuth's Wilson Matorin got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 69th minute Luiz Fernando Furlan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Édouard Mendy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amadeu Furlan during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 74 played minutes Al-Fajuth got a freekick which was hit by Amadeu Furlan. Agostinho Guedes's late challenge caught a Crisólia FBPA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Agostinho Guedes helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Al-Fajuth getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Agostinho Guedes hit a great ball. When Clóvis da Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Crisólia FBPA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clóvis da Rocha couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Al-Fajuth booed when Crisólia FBPA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Eduardo Tande didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 90 minutes, Clóvis da Rocha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crisólia FBPA and the Al-Fajuth players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Crisólia FBPA's Clóvis da Rocha got a free kick in the 90th minute. 95 minutes into the match, Crisólia FBPA's Eugênio Perez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Édouard Mendy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Crisólia FBPA were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Al-Fajuth for a fine match.
