Agnaldo Linares succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 3rd playminute. In the 8th match minute, FMArgentina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Severiano Formerio to maneuver through the defense. Efrain Salomon acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Carlos Augusto Figueiredo. After a rather tough play, Bezerros EC's Naldo Freitas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Carlos Augusto Figueiredo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. When Carlos Augusto Figueiredo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Bezerros EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Augusto Figueiredo couldn't finish the play. Luís Gustavo de Castro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Gaur's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Agnaldo Linares struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Efrain Salomon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezerros EC. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hélder Azevedo got free with Efrain Salomon in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Bezerros EC's Zé Roberto Mesquita in 42 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Efrain Salomon guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After 45 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Candido Sazon. Efrain Salomon was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Hélder Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Hélder Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 53rd minute Hélder Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Salomon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hélder Azevedo in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Hélder Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Salomon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hílton de Sena in the 64th minute of play forced FMArgentina's goalkeeper Efrain Salomon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Bezerros EC got a freekick which was hit by Hílton de Sena. Efrain Salomon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agnaldo Linares, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Efrain Salomon came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerros EC's Hélder Azevedo. But to his dismay, Hélder Azevedo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Efrain Salomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Roberto Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes into the match, FMArgentina's goal looked a bit too open when Hélder Azevedo came free, but Efrain Salomon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Bezerros EC's Agnaldo Linares in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FMArgentina's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Roberto Mesquita in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Efrain Salomon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bezerros EC's Hílton de Sena got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Agnaldo Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Hílton de Sena struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Efrain Salomon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bezerros EC. Efrain Salomon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Azevedo in the 87th minute of play. If Zé Roberto Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, Zé Roberto Mesquita notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FMArgentina's Efrain Salomon. Efrain Salomon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 95 minutes into the game, Zé Roberto Mesquita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Efrain Salomon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that Bezerros EC were the better team. Bezerros EC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
