Zabal Villanueva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Paulo Francho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, RACIN DE CHAWEN's Rico Bernal got control of the ball when Aurelio Urbes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute Lluciano Laredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Francho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lluciano Laredo made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 74thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Paulo Francho would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Severiano Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Francho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After 80 minutes El Renacer del Quijano FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roldán Amer who took care of the corner kick. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Caetano Galnares took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Paulo Francho to make any attempt to save it. The throw-in from Hélder Carvalho in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by El Renacer del Quijano FC's Ali Orhan Tükelay. After some careless play in the RACIN DE CHAWEN defense, Teobaldo Javiar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rico Bernal. The RACIN DE CHAWEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rico Bernal should have stopped the shot. Leonel Giro kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. The RACIN DE CHAWEN supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing RACIN DE CHAWEN would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
