RACIN DE CHAWEN's Roldán Amer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Felix Åberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in FC Kurdistan's zone, Caetano Galnares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felix Åberg came out of the goal and Caetano Galnares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Lange in the 15th minute of play forced RACIN DE CHAWEN's goalkeeper Marco Pedriza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marco Pedriza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Lange in the 16th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Mattias Svahn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Pedriza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes FC Kurdistan got a freekick which was hit by Joakim Norberg. After 29 minutes, Hans Vennerberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kurdistan and the RACIN DE CHAWEN players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of RACIN DE CHAWEN booed when FC Kurdistan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hans Vennerberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Pedriza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dag Hammarskjöld in the 32nd minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, FC Kurdistan's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Ortiz came free, but Felix Åberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Ortiz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Marco Pedriza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Lange went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Marco Pedriza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dag Hammarskjöld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zabal Villanueva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The RACIN DE CHAWEN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Kurdistan were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Caetano Galnares to make the kick off. Caetano Galnares scored 1-2 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Åberg, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Roldán Amer was slow to take the kick. During this time RACIN DE CHAWEN's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Roldán Amer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Felix Åberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lluciano Laredo took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Felix Åberg. Felix Åberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Marco Pedriza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Lustig, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felix Åberg stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lluciano Laredo's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The audience was convinced that Scott Sterling's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Pedriza was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. RACIN DE CHAWEN had won after a very even match.
