The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gara Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Rareș in the 5th minute. Sean Soon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Sarb Chuan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Marcel Chiriță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gara Chan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrei Rareș in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute Andrei Rareș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gara Chan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 23 minutes, Martin Călinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Urzicuța's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Călinescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Gara Chan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Marcel Chiriță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dale Tuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 34 minutes, Sean Soon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NFH Family United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sean Soon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gara Chan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Călinescu in the 36th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, NFH Family United's Sean Soon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcel Chiriță narrowly saved just below the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dale Tuan made a kick off. Martin Călinescu hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. The long shot by Sajeev Mathews in the 53rd minute really tested Marcel Chiriță's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Sean Soon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A hard shot 62 in the game by Dale Tuan from a close distance when the talented Marcel Chiriță managed to make a qualified save. FC Urzicuța's players were relieved. NFH Family United's Gara Chan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Maghiran in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, NFH Family United's Rudy Tioe got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of FC Urzicuța booed when NFH Family United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sean Soon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcel Chiriță made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Sarb Chuan sent off a good shot on target. Silviu Medrea hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Clive Dryburgh's late challenge caught a FC Urzicuța's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clive Dryburgh helped the player get up and apologised. After 84 played minutes NFH Family United got a freekick which was hit by Clive Dryburgh. With a little luck, FC Urzicuța's Marcel Chiriță got control of the ball when Dale Tuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clive Dryburgh blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcel Chiriță having to make a save. Marcel Chiriță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dale Tuan in the 91st minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, FC Urzicuța's goal looked a bit too open when Sarb Chuan came free, but Marcel Chiriță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrei Rareș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Urzicuța's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
