The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Humberto Moscoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. Basri Kuddus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Gutierrez having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Fetih Aktaşlı came free, but Sergio Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SEFEROĞULLARI's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Humberto Moscoso 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Suphi Seferogullari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sergio Gutierrez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. After 46 minutes, Nicolás Quirós mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ and the SEFEROĞULLARI players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of SEFEROĞULLARI booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolás Quirós didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Suphi Seferogullari was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Toto Rios during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Toto Rios got a free kick in the 59th minute. Suphi Seferogullari scored 1-1 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sergio Gutierrez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Gutierrez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Basri Kuddus in the 66th minute of the match. Sergio Gutierrez made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Fetih Aktaşlı sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of SEFEROĞULLARI booed when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Julio Gomez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 71st match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julio Gomez to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Gutierrez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basri Kuddus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Basri Kuddus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SEFEROĞULLARI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Basri Kuddus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A hard shot by İsmail Cem Ülkem from long distance, 92 minutes into the match, got Sergio Gutierrez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 94th match minute, SEFEROĞULLARI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berkant Barkın to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Toto Rios hit a great ball. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
