Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Elias Paredes got the match started through his kick off. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sérgio Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the match Calito Gutierrez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hudson de Medeiros showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Beto Centella recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 6th minute, Julio Gomez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 7 played minutes, Dogelo's Adelino Pombal shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Dogelo reached it. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Dogelo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Calito Gutierrez took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Calito Gutierrez got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hudson de Medeiros quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Patrick Freitas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sergio Gutierrez was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 17th match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fábio Vides to maneuver through the defense. In the 23rd minute Michel Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Julio Gomez hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miguel Toledano during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dogelo were furious when Fábio Vides was red carded, 34 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, Dogelo's Fábio Vides got a free kick in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Sérgio Gaúcho was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dogelo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ the free kick. Sérgio Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Calito Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Calito Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Dogelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Montenegro to maneuver through the defense. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Beto Centella got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Zanette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Sergio Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Michel Zanette made the kick off in the second half. When Humberto Moscoso fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Humberto Moscoso a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Moscoso hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arí Custódio during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Arí Custódio. Arí Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gutierrez having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Michel Zanette got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jaime Calderón fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s protests and gave Jaime Calderón a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Jaime Calderón got a free kick in the 58th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Arí Custódio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Gutierrez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 61st minute, Elias Paredes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Sergio Gutierrez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan De Diego in the 74th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Hudson de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Centella in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hudson de Medeiros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Paredes in the 81st minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Hudson de Medeiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85th match minute, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Moscoso to maneuver through the defense. If Arí Custódio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ booed when Dogelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hortêncio Messias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Toledano took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Hudson de Medeiros. Dogelo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sergio Gutierrez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Zanette in the 95th minute of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
