Montesa de Lugo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Duane Glenn was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 9th minute Alonzo Donovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariah Quintana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duane Glenn in the 10th minute of play forced Montesa de Lugo's goalkeeper Zachariah Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariah Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duane Glenn in the 16th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Montesa de Lugo's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Donovan came free, but Zachariah Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurice Holzer's late challenge caught a Washburn FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maurice Holzer helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Washburn FC booed when Montesa de Lugo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurice Holzer didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Montesa de Lugo's goal looked a bit too open when Alonzo Donovan came free, but Zachariah Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Duane Glenn in the 21st minute of play forced Montesa de Lugo's goalkeeper Zachariah Quintana to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Alfredo Quinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zachariah Quintana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Donovan in the 35th minute of the match. 43 minutes into the match, Montesa de Lugo's goal looked a bit too open when Duane Glenn came free, but Zachariah Quintana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 47 minutes into the game, Alfredo Quinn cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Isaiah Grove was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Quinn to strike the kick off in the second half. Zachariah Quintana stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casey Whitfield's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Zachariah Quintana didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Duane Glenn went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Simon Lundy kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 62nd minute of the match Scottie Reid shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zachariah Quintana showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 64th play minutes Cliff Horner shot 1-3, a short shot which went by Zachariah Quintana and just under the crossbar into goal. Casey Whitfield who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 68thth minute tested the skills of Zachariah Quintana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 68th match minute, Montesa de Lugo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darryl Califf to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Casey Whitfield reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Zachariah Quintana. The goal made the score 1-4. Montesa de Lugo's Zachariah Quintana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Duane Glenn in the 73rd minute of play. Isaiah Grove stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfredo Quinn's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. In the 77th match minute, Washburn FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josef Gustafson to maneuver through the defense. Zachariah Quintana was a little too slow when Cliff Horner got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 1-5. Casey Whitfield received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Zachariah Quintana came out and tried to block the shot, but Casey Whitfield slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 90th minute. Montesa de Lugo's Zachariah Quintana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Montesa de Lugo from getting a goal against them. Washburn FC's Isaiah Grove played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfredo Quinn in the 95th minute of play. Washburn FC played a much better game than Montesa de Lugo and deserved their victory. The Montesa de Lugo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
