Diego Zanette came out of the goal and Tata Tatu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Edson Nunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tata Tatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 27 minutes in the game, Tata Tatu fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Diego Zanette having to interfere. The supporters of Farmácia Cristo Rei booed when Galáticos Paulista S.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Téo Massa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Tata Tatu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Farmácia Cristo Rei's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tata Tatu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edson Nunes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Zanette having to interfere. Edson Nunes might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edson Nunes ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Farmácia Cristo Rei's Edson Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diego Zanette narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Farmácia Cristo Rei's Tata Tatu got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hermínio Oliveira to strike the kick off in the second half. Diego Zanette showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tata Tatu in the 52nd minute of the match. Diego Zanette was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Zanette stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hermínio Oliveira's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Tata Tatu might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diego Zanette. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tata Tatu ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hermínio Oliveira in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diego Zanette saved Galáticos Paulista S.C. from getting behind. Diego Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermínio Oliveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Farmácia Cristo Rei were the better team. Farmácia Cristo Rei's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
