Santarritense FC's Fernandinho Carneiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Trancoso in the 12th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilson Seco during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Diamantino Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geovanni Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Geovanni Reis charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geovanni Reis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 24th match minute, Santarritense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geovanni Reis to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the game, Diamantino Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamandare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santarritense FC the free kick. In the 25th minute, Diamantino Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcos Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. In the 36th minute, Sabino Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the game, Natã Donato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamandare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santarritense FC the free kick. Duarte Nunes kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Tamandare's Ademar Trancoso got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ademar Trancoso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Santarritense FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Genílson Koehler hit a great ball. Fernandinho Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Trancoso in the 52nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlinhos Neves got free with Fernandinho Carneiro in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sabino Moreira hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Fernandinho Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ademar Trancoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. João Francisco Santana kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Adriano Leão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabino Moreira's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Adriano Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duarte Nunes in the 69th minute of play. Wilson Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Fernandinho Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilson Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandinho Carneiro having to interfere.
