Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kauã Custódio started the match with the kick off. In the 6th match minute, Gica Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Maciel to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Nóbrega was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Frederico Brasil. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gica Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! Gica Futebol Clube's Marcos Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Trancoso in the 18th minute of play. Adriano Leão came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Gica Futebol Clube's Dráuzio Prestes. But to his dismay, Dráuzio Prestes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After 27 played minutes, Tamandare's Filipe Leite shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Nóbrega came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tamandare reached it. Dráuzio Prestes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Adriano Leão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tamandare's goalkeeper Adriano Leão, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 41 minutes into the match, Gica Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Marcos Nóbrega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carlinhos Neves. Ademar Trancoso might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Nóbrega. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ademar Trancoso ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcos Nóbrega made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Carlinhos Neves sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ademar Trancoso made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Carlinhos Neves had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcos Nóbrega. Gica Futebol Clube's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlinhos Neves was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Adriano Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Custódio in the 57th minute of play. After having played for 61 minutes, Dráuzio Prestes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gica Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dráuzio Prestes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeu Madureira kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Carlinhos Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Nóbrega was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Tamandare's Carlinhos Neves got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Kauã Custódio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Adriano Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erik do Vale during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Tamandare's Erik do Vale got a free kick in the 79th minute. Carlinhos Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Marcos Nóbrega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilvan Maciel charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gilvan Maciel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 85 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gica Futebol Clube! In the 90th minute Ademar Trancoso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Nóbrega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dráuzio Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Adriano Leão made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Tamandare's zone, Kauã Custódio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adriano Leão came out of the goal and Kauã Custódio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Adriano Leão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kauã Custódio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carlinhos Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
