Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Combate SS booed when Poeirama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Mangueira didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, André Maia dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Faria, 1-0. Marcelo Faria showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Maia in the 12th minute of the match. Carlos Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Wellington Netto charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wellington Netto the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Laerte Simões received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Durval Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Poeirama's goalkeeper couldn't reach when André Maia 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Combate SS's Geraldo Lago was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 30th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Geraldo Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Marcelo Faria made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling César Fernandez in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Durval Valladares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Geraldo Lago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Marcelo Faria tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for César Fernandez to strike the kick off in the second half. If André Maia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, César Fernandez took a quick shot and it went in 3-1 without a chance for Durval Valladares to make any attempt to save it. In the 62nd minute André Maia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Faria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durval Valladares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from César Fernandez in the 64th minute of play. In the 68th minute, André Maia made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Faria. Poeirama's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Laerte Simões fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Durval Valladares having to interfere. 76 minutes into the game, Guga Mineiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Combate SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poeirama the free kick. Guga Mineiro hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Laerte Simões got free with Durval Valladares in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Combate SS's Geraldo Lago got a free kick in the 81st minute. André Maia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Faria having to interfere. After having played for 85 minutes, César Fernandez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Poeirama's supporters crossed their fingers, but César Fernandez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Geraldo Lago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Combate SS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Poeirama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
