Ezequiel Toledo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorginho Cerezo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Ezequiel Toledo came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Futebol Muleke's Falcão Linhares. But to his dismay, Falcão Linhares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nildo Baptista in the 13th minute of play forced True Hawks's goalkeeper Ezequiel Toledo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luiz Fernando Recife got free with Reynaldo Perez in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th match minute, Futebol Muleke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Linhares to maneuver through the defense. Ezequiel Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nildo Baptista in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to True Hawks getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Marcos Lago hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in True Hawks's zone, Ramón Torres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ezequiel Toledo came out of the goal and Ramón Torres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Jorginho Cerezo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, True Hawks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sidnei do Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jorginho Cerezo in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ezequiel Toledo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to True Hawks getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Alfredinho Domingues hit a great ball. When Futebol Muleke's Jorginho Cerezo in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye True Hawks's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Nildo Baptista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ezequiel Toledo. True Hawks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nildo Baptista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Futebol Muleke were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jorginho Cerezo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 56 minutes of play, True Hawks's Marcos Lago made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Reynaldo Perez was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 73rdth minute of the game Jorginho Cerezo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but True Hawks's Ezequiel Toledo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bruno Maranhense's late challenge caught a Futebol Muleke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bruno Maranhense helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Futebol Muleke booed when True Hawks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gláuber Freire had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Luiz Fabiano Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Futebol Muleke fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Fabiano Campidelis couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Toledo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorginho Cerezo's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, True Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fabiano Campidelis came free, but Ezequiel Toledo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Futebol Muleke's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
