Spectators: 7231 (Terracing: 5425, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Claudinho de Queirós got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Ipuera's Diamantino Vianna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andrézinho Mazza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Diamantino Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diamantino Vianna in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andrézinho Mazza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Diamantino Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ipuera's Luizão de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Ipuera from getting a goal against them. Nildo Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Diamantino Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrézinho Mazza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diamantino Vianna in the 26th minute of play. Luizão de Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudinho de Queirós in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Dorian Cavalcante managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ipuera's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Cavalcante was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andrézinho Mazza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. João Adolfo Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Mazza having to interfere. In the 37th minute Diamantino Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Mazza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diamantino Vianna in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andrézinho Mazza saved Eao from getting behind. After having played for 40 minutes, João Adolfo Salles managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipuera's supporters crossed their fingers, but João Adolfo Salles was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Ipuera's Charles Alagoano got a free kick in the 47th minute. The Eao players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ipuera were winning 0-1.

When José Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eao's protests and gave José Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Eao's José Queiroz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the game, Claudinho de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ipuera the free kick. After 54 played minutes Eao got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho de Queirós. João Adolfo Salles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrézinho Mazza having to interfere. If Diamantino Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Ipuera's João Adolfo Salles slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrézinho Mazza. That made the score 0-3 after 62 minutes of play. In the 71st minute, one of Ipuera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ipuera. Luizão de Carvalho went to the wrong direction when Didi Rosado was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 74th minute, Charles Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alexsandro Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Andrézinho Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Eao's José Queiroz got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the game, Otávio Matos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ipuera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eao the free kick. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ipuera! Diamantino Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Andrézinho Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Queiroz struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Luizão de Carvalho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eao. Ipuera's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
