Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luiz Paulo Ramos started the match with the kick off. In the 10th minute Roberto Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Célio Lago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Luiz Paulo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, José Carlos Brito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Carnaubas getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Edgard Urbano hit a great ball. After 23 minutes, Roberto Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carnaubas and the Tucunupi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roberto Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Antônio Carlos Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carnaubas's Roberto Couto in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tucunupi FC's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Tucunupi FC booed when Carnaubas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Guilherme Soeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes into the match, Carnaubas's Roberto Couto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Célio Lago narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tucunupi FC's Célio Lago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fernando Fernandez in the 41st minute of play. After taking down the ball on Carnaubas's corner Luiz Guilherme Soeiro fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Célio Lago quite easily take care of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roberto Couto in the 47th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Célio Lago prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Fernando Fernandez was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Guilherme Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. André Luís Sanches showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antônio Carlos Pombal, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. A collision led to Carnaubas getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Elder Leal hit a great ball. In the 63rd minute, Elder Leal reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Célio Lago. The goal made the score 0-1. If Roberto Couto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the game, Luiz Fernando Fernandez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Carnaubas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tucunupi FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Carnaubas's Luiz Fernando Fernandez got a free kick in the 74th minute. Roberto Couto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Lago having to interfere. Edgard Urbano kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Célio Lago was a little too slow when Luiz Fernando Fernandez got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-2. Carnaubas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
