Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Simão de Sena started the match with the kick off. Jailson Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Moreno in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Kapiting's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Moreno came free, but Jailson Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Tasso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jardel Esteves in the 10th minute of play. Jailson Santana came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Urussui's Simão de Sena. But to his dismay, Simão de Sena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 22 minutes into the game, Claudinho Mandrak recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Daniel Tasso. Claudinho Mandrak showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Claudinho Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Daniel Tasso made a huge save. Daniel Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jardel Esteves, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Alexandre Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Daniel Tasso. Urussui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 34th match minute, Urussui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Severo to maneuver through the defense. After 40 played minutes Urussui got a freekick which was hit by Serginho Meirelles. Simão de Sena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jardel Esteves to make the kick off. Jailson Santana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão de Sena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Christian de Moraes during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Christian de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Santana having to interfere. When Simão de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Urussui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Simão de Sena couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Kapiting getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Claudinho Mandrak hit a great ball. Victor Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jailson Santana having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Jardel Esteves notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Urussui's Daniel Tasso. Daniel Tasso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 73rd minute Alexandre Teixeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Tasso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexandre Teixeira in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Daniel Tasso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 76 minutes into the game, Jardel Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Daniel Tasso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 83 minutes into the match, Urussui's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeu Nascimento came free, but Daniel Tasso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Severo in the 85th minute of play forced Urussui's goalkeeper Daniel Tasso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniel Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Teixeira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urussui's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
