When Osvaldo Mandrak fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SS Renegades's protests and gave Osvaldo Mandrak a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to SS Renegades getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Osvaldo Mandrak hit a great ball. Oswaldo de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Cássio Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faustão Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Recife having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as SS Renegades's Osvaldo Mandrak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luisão Tróia. That made the score 1-0 after 12 minutes of play. When Moraes A.C's Faustão Sabóia in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SS Renegades's goalie prevented a goal. Osvaldo Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faustão Sabóia in the 28th minute of play forced SS Renegades's goalkeeper Cássio Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vágner Matos's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Luisão Tróia skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 33rd minute, Osvaldo Mandrak fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Luisão Tróia, passed just outside the right post. When Oswaldo de Brito came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Moraes A.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oswaldo de Brito couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd minute, Osvaldo Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Faustão Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Moraes A.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Sabóia couldn't finish the play. Cássio Recife showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faustão Sabóia, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Osvaldo Mandrak made a kick off. Luisão Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Osvaldo Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Tróia. Moraes A.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osvaldo Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Vágner Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of SS Renegades booed when Moraes A.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton Tavares didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, SS Renegades's Cássio Recife got control of the ball when Oswaldo de Brito tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to SS Renegades getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Basílio Jacinto hit a great ball. When Faustão Sabóia came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Moraes A.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Faustão Sabóia couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Matos in the 89th minute of play forced Moraes A.C's goalkeeper Luisão Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Vágner Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vágner Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Luisão Tróia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The SS Renegades fans cheered their team off the field, for while Moraes A.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
