A collision led to SS Renegades getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Arthur Medeiros hit a great ball. Cássio Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Michel Pombal went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cássio Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Pombal in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match Pedro Luiz Batista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio Recife skillfully saved the ball. If Inácio Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Osvaldo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Inácio Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Monsanto getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Kauan Eger hit a great ball. Monsanto's Inácio Quintal got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Michel Pombal left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monsanto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 42 played minutes Monsanto got a freekick which was hit by Sílvio Lira. Dinei Bueno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Michel Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Cássio Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Mandrak in the 53rd minute of play forced Monsanto's goalkeeper Dinei Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monsanto's Dinei Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Mandrak in the 55th minute of play. If Inácio Quintal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio Recife made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Michel Pombal sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes, SS Renegades's Cícero Teles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dinei Bueno came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SS Renegades reached it. 67 minutes into the match, SS Renegades's goalkeeper Cássio Recife had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inácio Quintal. Dinei Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Osvaldo Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Osvaldo Mandrak in the 73rd minute of play forced Monsanto's goalkeeper Dinei Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elivélton Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Michel Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Recife having to interfere. Inácio Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 92 minutes into the game, Dorian Mello was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SS Renegades's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monsanto the free kick. If Michel Pombal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Elivélton Andrade fell near the penalty area in the 97th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SS Renegades's protests and gave Elivélton Andrade a yellow card for diving instead.
