The supporters of Taioba FC booed when Napas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Henrique Meireles didn't get a good kick on the ball. Napas FC's Antônio Teixeira managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raúl Mangueira in the 12 minute of the game. Ramiro da Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gildo Donatello in the 13th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Gildo Donatello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro da Costa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 21 played minutes, Napas FC's Henrique Meireles shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ramiro da Costa came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Napas FC reached it. Ramiro da Costa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Guto Linares came free in the 30th minute and tried to tip the ball over Erivaldo Pombal, but to the joy of Napas FC's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out. If Antônio Teixeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gildo Donatello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro da Costa having to interfere. Napas FC's Gildo Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, Antônio Teixeira made a precise shot to the right of Ramiro da Costa. Taioba FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gildo Donatello stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Taioba FC's Ramiro da Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gildo Donatello in the 69th minute of play. In the 74th minute, Adalberto Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Napas FC's Gildo Donatello got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 78 minutes into the match, Taioba FC's goalkeeper Ramiro da Costa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antônio Teixeira. Ramiro da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gildo Donatello's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. Adalberto Pena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro da Costa having to interfere.
