Spectators: 7108 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1668, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luiz Gustavo Maciel took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Itonia AD's Donato Lopes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gualter Furlan. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. When Luiz Gustavo Maciel came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Charqueada EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Gustavo Maciel couldn't finish the play. Luiz Gustavo Maciel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gino Berger read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Luiz Gustavo Maciel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Léo de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Jonathan Veiga sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Charqueada EC's Gualter Furlan didn't even have to move. When Leonardo Valadares came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Charqueada EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Valadares couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Charqueada EC booed when Itonia AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgílio Porto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Leonardo Valadares put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gino Berger. Gino Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Maciel in the 29th minute of the match. Juvenal Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Gualter Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd match minute, Charqueada EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Léo de Senna to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Charqueada EC's zone, Donato Lopes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter Furlan came out of the goal and Donato Lopes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Valadares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gino Berger having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Gino Berger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Donato Lopes was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th minute, Sílvio Luiz Novaes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gualter Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Lopes's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. Juvenal Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter Furlan having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Juvenal Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sílvio Luiz Novaes charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sílvio Luiz Novaes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sílvio Luiz Novaes hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Leonardo Valadares who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 76thth minute tested the skills of Gino Berger when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Gino Berger managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Charqueada EC's Leonardo Valadares fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Itonia AD's Gino Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Gustavo Maciel in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Itonia AD's Jonathan Veiga got a free kick in the 87th minute. Gino Berger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo Maciel in the 91st minute of the match. Sílvio Luiz Novaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
