Spectators: 7100 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 0) Donato Lopes made the kick off and thus started the match. 4 minutes into the match, Barcelona Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Lopes came free, but Conrado Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juvenal Diniz got free with Conrado Duarte in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Conrado Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Lopes in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, Barcelona Fc's Conrado Duarte got control of the ball when Adhemar Severo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 18 minutes, Giuseppe Teixeira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona Fc and the Itonia AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Barcelona Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. If Dito Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Abelardo Carioca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gino Berger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gino Berger came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Barcelona Fc's Abelardo Carioca. But to his dismay, Abelardo Carioca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Juvenal Diniz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Conrado Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gino Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abelardo Carioca, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Donato Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Conrado Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Duarte made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juvenal Diniz in the 37th minute. Juvenal Diniz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Conrado Duarte having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Giuseppe Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Donato Lopes during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Donato Lopes hit a great ball.

The wind increased when Abelardo Carioca made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Carioca in the 56th minute of play forced Itonia AD's goalkeeper Gino Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Itonia AD's Gino Berger got control of the ball when Dito Mangueira tried to sneak it across the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, Barcelona Fc's Abelardo Carioca sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Berger narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Donato Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Itonia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donato Lopes couldn't finish the play. 66 minutes into the game, one of Barcelona Fc:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Jonathan Veiga shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The audience was convinced that Donato Lopes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Duarte was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 77 minutes into the match, Itonia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Abelardo Carioca came free, but Gino Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st match minute, Barcelona Fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Machado to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Itonia AD's Jonathan Veiga tried to score from far away in the 82nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Itonia AD's zone, Rubens Goiano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Berger came out of the goal and Rubens Goiano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gino Berger was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Abelardo Carioca showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 96 minute of play. The Itonia AD manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Barcelona Fc to win.
