Murilo Nogueira's late challenge caught a Limitless FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murilo Nogueira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd match minute, Castelhano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Nogueira to maneuver through the defense. Nelsinho Pitta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Tinoco in the 7th minute of play. Jerônimo Pontes struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Nelsinho Pitta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Limitless FC. Otávio Félix made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Celsinho Jacinto sent off a good shot on target. Limitless FC's Otávio Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Limitless FC from getting a goal against them. Celsinho Jacinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Félix having to interfere. Celsinho Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Otávio Félix made a huge save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sílvio Mello to make the kick off. If Celsinho Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Castelhano's zone, Jerônimo Pontes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nelsinho Pitta came out of the goal and Jerônimo Pontes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jerônimo Pontes came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Limitless FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerônimo Pontes couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paulo Tinoco in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nelsinho Pitta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Tinoco in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nelsinho Pitta saved Castelhano from getting behind. 72 minutes into the match, Limitless FC's goal looked a bit too open when Celsinho Jacinto came free, but Otávio Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 73 minutes, Eliézer de Medeiros mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Limitless FC and the Castelhano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Limitless FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer de Medeiros. Celsinho Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 78 played minutes Limitless FC got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Pontes. An unexpectedly hard shot by Válter Porto in the 81st minute of play forced Limitless FC's goalkeeper Otávio Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Celsinho Jacinto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Otávio Félix was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. When Paulo Tinoco came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Limitless FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Tinoco couldn't finish the play. Celsinho Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Mello fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio Félix having to interfere. Jerônimo Pontes's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nelsinho Pitta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Otávio Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Mello, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
