After 90 minutes of play Araioses AD's Régis Mota was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Régis Mota kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jaime Guerra in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. When Lauro Teles fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Araioses AD's protests and gave Lauro Teles a yellow card for diving instead. 99 minutes into the game, one of Araioses AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.
