The tension between the MzK Monster F.C. and the S.C. Corinthians Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of S.C. Corinthians Paulista booed when MzK Monster F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rui Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Breno Terra having to interfere. In the 19th minute, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Lúcio Monteiro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Breno Terra. Breno Terra yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilson Marquez in the 35th minute of play forced S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goalkeeper Ediberto Sampaio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ronaldo Tróia in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ediberto Sampaio saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. In the 38th minute, Wesley Costa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 41 minutes, Nilson Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MzK Monster F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 46 minutes into the match, S.C. Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Machado came free, but Ediberto Sampaio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ronaldo Tróia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lúcio Monteiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute Rui Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Breno Terra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Wesley Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MzK Monster F.C. the free kick. Wesley Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. If Rui Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ronaldo Tróia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ediberto Sampaio having to make a save.
