Amílton Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Colorado Attack FC's Gilvan Martins got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Renan Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginaldo Tasso charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Denílson Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Walmyr Baiano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 38thth minute of the game Denílson Carvalho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Conta Encerrada Por Odair's Amílton Teixeira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Raúl Fontes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 40 minutes into the match, Hílton Alvarenga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Amílton Teixeira. Conta Encerrada Por Odair's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hílton Alvarenga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agostinho Coutinho in the 48th minute of play forced Conta Encerrada Por Odair's goalkeeper Amílton Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abel Valle was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Colorado Attack FC booed when Conta Encerrada Por Odair was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renan Mineiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Amílton Teixeira stood somewhat misplaced when Luizão Rodrigues came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 93 minute.
