Genílson Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Aparecido having to interfere. 1 Poko de Nois's Paulo Renato Dantas got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edinho Aparecido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Paulo Renato Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the 1 Poko de Nois fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulo Renato Dantas couldn't finish the play. In the 21st minute, Paulo Renato Dantas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The 1 Poko de Nois fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. João Carlos Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Frank Simão took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edinho Aparecido. Edinho Aparecido dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Paulo Renato Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 35 minutes of play, 1 Poko de Nois's João Francisco Carvalho made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Carlos Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 42 minutes, Serginho Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 1 Poko de Nois's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serginho Nóbrega was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Genílson Tepedino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Edinho Aparecido made a huge save. Rafa Passos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After the first half 1 Poko de Nois were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Francisco Carvalho made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Tepedino in the 52nd minute of play forced 1 Poko de Nois's goalkeeper Edinho Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 52 minutes, Rafa Passos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 1 Poko de Nois and the Guaravera players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 52nd minute, Rafa Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute, Rafa Passos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Frank Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guaravera's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Simão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genílson Tepedino in the 78th minute of play forced 1 Poko de Nois's goalkeeper Edinho Aparecido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Simão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute, Frank Simão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Severino Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in 1 Poko de Nois fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 88th minute. Penalty! 96 minutes into the match, Frank Simão notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of 1 Poko de Nois's Edinho Aparecido. Edinho Aparecido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
