Fudilson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Otávio Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Edinho Aparecido. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Otávio Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. 16 minutes into the game, Lenílson Marquez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Edinho Aparecido was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If João Francisco Carvalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, S.C. Fudilson's Bruno Leão got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd match minute, 1 Poko de Nois was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by João Francisco Carvalho to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 35 minutes, Lenílson Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Fudilson's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lenílson Marquez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Serginho Nóbrega came free with the goalkeeper in the 41st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bruno Leão could save by the left post. With a little luck, S.C. Fudilson's Bruno Leão got control of the ball when Paulo Renato Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edinho Aparecido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otávio Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute.

The wind increased when João Francisco Carvalho made the kick off in the second half. 1 Poko de Nois were awarded a corner in the 54th minute after S.C. Fudilson's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Flavinho do Valle took the corner. The corner led 1 Poko de Nois's Flavinho do Valle to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Leão despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 58th minute, Pedro Cosme hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavinho do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, S.C. Fudilson's Carlos Alberto Sampaio got a free kick in the 68th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Lenílson Marquez managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Fudilson's supporters rose to their feet, but Lenílson Marquez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Otávio Teles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Edinho Aparecido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Serginho Nóbrega hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Lenílson Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Lenílson Marquez came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the S.C. Fudilson fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lenílson Marquez couldn't finish the play. When Emerson de Senna fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 1 Poko de Nois's protests and gave Emerson de Senna a yellow card for diving instead. Emerson de Senna hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Otávio Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. S.C. Fudilson's supporters rose to their feet, but Otávio Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Aparecido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The 1 Poko de Nois fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. S.C. Fudilson were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
