Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos Quadros in the 19th minute of play. Alan Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Juan Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clóvis Valladares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Tostão Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Clóvis Valladares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Juan Prestes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Metolokos MZ Clube's zone, Zé Carlos Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alan Almeida came out of the goal and Zé Carlos Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cláudio Porto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Almeida having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zé Carlos Quadros in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alan Almeida prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Carlos Quadros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cláudio Porto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tostão Velasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 59 minutes into the match, Metolokos MZ Clube's goalkeeper Alan Almeida had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cláudio Porto. Cláudio Porto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Alan Almeida skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cristian Vianna hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Zé Carlos Quadros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alan Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Almeida made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Cláudio Porto sent off a good shot on target. Egídio Monteiro charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Egídio Monteiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Metolokos MZ Clube's Alan Almeida got control of the ball when Cláudio Porto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Clóvis Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Prestes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
