Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel de Almeida got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute Joel de Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sérgio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 7 played minutes Dread Lion FC got a freekick which was hit by Benê Leme. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chiquinho Simão in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Júlio de Toledo saved Acara from getting behind. In the 16th minute, Joel de Almeida fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Dread Lion FC's zone, Umberto Falcão stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sérgio Cruz came out of the goal and Umberto Falcão tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Umberto Falcão might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sérgio Cruz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Umberto Falcão ran back to his position shaking his head. Joel de Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Sérgio Cruz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Umberto Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acara's supporters rose to their feet, but Umberto Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sérgio Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Júlio de Toledo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Souza in the 29th minute of play. Dread Lion FC's Sérgio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel de Almeida in the 31st minute of play. Umberto Falcão who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Sérgio Cruz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Sérgio Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel de Almeida in the 36th minute of the match. Joel de Almeida sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Joel de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hélder Souza to strike the kick off in the second half. Joel de Almeida fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sérgio Cruz having to interfere. Sérgio Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Umberto Falcão's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Sérgio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel de Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Joel de Almeida left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Acara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Sandrinho de Andrade charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sandrinho de Andrade the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sandrinho de Andrade hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Osvaldinho Leite did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-1 to the left of a surprised Júlio de Toledo 77 minutes into the match. Sérgio Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Umberto Falcão went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Umberto Falcão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Umberto Falcão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
