The wind increased when Claudinei de Lima made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Narciso Andrade shot from a long distance. After having played for 72 minutes, Joaquim Secco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sarutai EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Secco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cláudio Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Matorin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alan Matorin scored 4-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cláudio Gerber, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Falcão de Alcântara took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cláudio Gerber. Cláudio Gerber dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. When Luiz Fernando Vianna fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarutai EC's protests and gave Luiz Fernando Vianna a yellow card for diving instead. After 88 played minutes Sarutai EC got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fernando Vianna. In the 92nd minute, Alan Matorin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cláudio Gerber was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-2. 96 minutes into the game, Sarutai EC's Alan Matorin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cláudio Gerber made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-2. When the referee ended the match the Sarutai EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
