With a little luck, Calibres FC's Fernando Meirelles got control of the ball when Gino Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Róbson de Queiroz hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Luciano Ferraz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Fernando Chus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gino Garcia scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Meirelles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Calibres FC's zone, Gino Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Meirelles came out of the goal and Gino Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calibres FC's Fernando Meirelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Calibres FC from getting a goal against them. Luciano Ferraz scored 1-1 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Helmut Tönnies, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Róbson de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Gino Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Meirelles having to interfere. In the 36th match minute, Martele was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Válbson Pitta to maneuver through the defense. If Luciano Ferraz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 42 played minutes, Martele's Válbson Pitta shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fernando Meirelles came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Martele reached it. 44 minutes into the match, Calibres FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gino Garcia came free, but Fernando Meirelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbson de Queiroz during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Calibres FC getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Róbson de Queiroz hit a great ball. When Henrique Vargas fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Calibres FC's protests and gave Henrique Vargas a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Calibres FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 45th minute. Penalty! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Ceresso was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Fernando Chus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fernando Meirelles. Calibres FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernando Chus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 55th minute, Christian Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Garcia struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Fernando Meirelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martele. In the 62nd minute, Gino Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Martele fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. 67 minutes into the match, Gino Garcia notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Calibres FC's Fernando Meirelles. Fernando Meirelles was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Helmut Tönnies made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luciano Ferraz in the 70th minute. When Elias Ceresso came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Calibres FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elias Ceresso couldn't finish the play. Elias Ceresso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gino Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fernando Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gino Garcia in the 81st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Calibres FC's zone, Emiliyan Vladichki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Meirelles came out of the goal and Emiliyan Vladichki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Garcia in the 85th minute of the match. Helmut Tönnies took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Ceresso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Gino Garcia put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando Meirelles. Eugênio Bertassi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
