ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Christian Dias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Pombal in the 4th minute of play. A collision led to ONZE GUEREIROS F.C getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Gustavo Barreto hit a great ball. Dagoberto Vale made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Barreto in the 8th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Ismael Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Dagoberto Mattos managed to get in a good position for a shot. ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Dagoberto Mattos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dagoberto Vale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dagoberto Mattos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Dagoberto Vale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Quintal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of ONZE GUEREIROS F.C booed when Cassual SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmo Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Dias came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cassual SS's Wesley Pombal. But to his dismay, Wesley Pombal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 26th minute Wesley Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Dias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Wesley Pombal came free, but Christian Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dagoberto Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's Dagoberto Vale threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Maria Furtado, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cassual SS's Wesley Pombal pulled a muscle in his leg after 39 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alexsandro Pirani during the 39th minute. In the 46th minute, Gustavo Barreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the ONZE GUEREIROS F.C defense, Zeca Sergipano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Dias. The ONZE GUEREIROS F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Dias should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Dagoberto Mattos made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes Cassual SS got a freekick which was hit by Enéas França. Doni Sena was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 53rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 54th match minute, Cassual SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fred Andrade to maneuver through the defense. José Maria Furtado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dagoberto Vale having to interfere. Dagoberto Vale took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dagoberto Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Cassual SS's Sandro Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Christian Dias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's zone, Fred Andrade stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Dias came out of the goal and Fred Andrade tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of ONZE GUEREIROS F.C booed when Cassual SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas França didn't get a good kick on the ball. Christian Dias was a little too slow when Fred Andrade got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 0-4. 87 minutes into the match, ONZE GUEREIROS F.C's goalkeeper Christian Dias had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sandro Lira. Sandro Lira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Christian Dias made a huge save. If Fred Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cassual SS players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
