Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Paulão Bezerra came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester Breja's João Adolfo Trigo. But to his dismay, João Adolfo Trigo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience was convinced that João Adolfo Trigo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Paulão Bezerra was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Waldir Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Paulão Bezerra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Adolfo Trigo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulão Bezerra saved PAIA from getting behind. Alfredão Munhoz took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilton Rezende. Wilton Rezende dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfredão Munhoz got free with Wilton Rezende in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester Breja! In the 28th minute there was a penalty for PAIA. Alfredão Munhoz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wilton Rezende. 2-1. In the 31st minute, Waldir Botelho made a precise shot to the right of Paulão Bezerra. PAIA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. After a rather tough play, PAIA's Raúl Moura got a free kick in the 37th minute. Paulão Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the game, Alan Pereira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. PAIA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester Breja the free kick. After 42 played minutes PAIA got a freekick which was hit by Alan Pereira. Paulão Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Amaral in the 43rd minute of play. PAIA's Paulão Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Adolfo Trigo in the 44th minute of play. If Waldir Botelho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulão Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Adolfo Trigo, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. João Adolfo Trigo was the one to do the kick off. Christiano de Lima kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Wilton Rezende came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by PAIA's Alfredão Munhoz. But to his dismay, Alfredão Munhoz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Paulão Bezerra was out of position in the 62 minute of play, and Waldir Botelho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Waldir Botelho really showed his touch with that goal: 3-4. After 68 minutes of play, PAIA's Raúl Moura made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilton Rezende was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 73 played minutes Manchester Breja got a freekick which was hit by Luís Fernando Baiano. Waldir Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Paulão Bezerra made a huge save. 81 minutes into the match, PAIA's goalkeeper Paulão Bezerra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rogério Mello. With a little luck, PAIA's Paulão Bezerra got control of the ball when Waldir Botelho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vicente da Silva struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Paulão Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manchester Breja. 88 minutes into the game, Waldir Botelho lined in a short shot 4-5 behind a frustrated Paulão Bezerra. After 92 played minutes Manchester Breja got a freekick which was hit by Waldir Botelho. Waldir Botelho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulão Bezerra having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, PAIA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christiano de Lima to maneuver through the defense. Manchester Breja's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
