Wilton Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vágner Pernambucano in the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Manchester Breja got a freekick which was hit by Vicente da Silva. Wilton Rezende made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vágner Pernambucano in the 22nd minute of play. Black Noir scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilton Rezende, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Vágner Pernambucano notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Manchester Breja's Wilton Rezende. Wilton Rezende was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 38 minutes into the match, Manchester Breja's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Dante came free, but Wilton Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Manchester Breja was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yan de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. When Ruben Paz came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the PERNA DE PAU SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Paz couldn't finish the play. Wilton Rezende came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by PERNA DE PAU SC's Vágner Pernambucano. But to his dismay, Vágner Pernambucano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. After the first half PERNA DE PAU SC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 52nd minute, Vicente da Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Geovanni Arruda was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. After a rather tough play, PERNA DE PAU SC's Alfredo Dante got a free kick in the 55th minute. After 58 minutes, Norberto Perez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester Breja and the PERNA DE PAU SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfredo Dante was extremely unlucky when he, in the 69th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Manchester Breja's Wilton Rezende proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Manchester Breja from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Alfredo Dante reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilton Rezende. The goal made the score 1-7. 82 minutes into the match, Manchester Breja's goalkeeper Wilton Rezende had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vágner Pernambucano. After some careless play in the Manchester Breja defense, Vágner Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wilton Rezende. The Manchester Breja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilton Rezende should have stopped the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Manchester Breja's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredo Dante came free, but Wilton Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes in the game, Alfredo Dante fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Wilton Rezende having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alfredo Dante in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilton Rezende saved Manchester Breja from getting behind. In the 94th minute of the match, Vágner Pernambucano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Wilton Rezende was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Wilton Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfredo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. PERNA DE PAU SC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
