Francisco Chico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th match minute, Carolinense FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Siqueira to maneuver through the defense. 崔榕树 made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Filipe de Azevedo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Filipe de Azevedo could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which 崔榕树 however easily saved by the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Filipe de Azevedo to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Winners Football Club's zone, Edmundo Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Batista came out of the goal and Edmundo Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Edmundo Dias got free in front of the goal in the 55th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Enéas Batista was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Edmundo Dias in the 63rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Enéas Batista, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 崔榕树 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filipe de Azevedo's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Richard Travassos in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 崔榕树 saved Carolinense FC from getting behind. With his leg Enéas Batista managed to avoid a goal in the 70thth minute, when Carolinense FC's Edmundo Dias fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Richard Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 崔榕树 having to interfere. Oscar Tono fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Batista having to interfere. Carolinense FC played a much better game than Winners Football Club and deserved their victory. The Winners Football Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
