Spectators: 7462 (Terracing: 5597, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bernardo Queiroz started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute, Dagoberto Ferreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dito Lopez came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the RMF FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Lopez couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the match, Jaime Salgado dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Caetano Gaúcho, 1-0. Jaime Salgado charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jaime Salgado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Winners Football Club getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Jaime Salgado hit a great ball. In the 16th minute Bernardo Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dito Lopez in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enéas Batista saved Winners Football Club from getting behind. Enéas Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dito Lopez in the 18th minute of play. Miguel Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Batista having to interfere. In the 23rd minute Bernardo Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Toninho Souto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Winners Football Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RMF FC the free kick. Toninho Souto hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, RMF FC's Sílvio Luís Alcântara tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jaime Salgado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jaime Salgado in the 32nd minute of play forced RMF FC's goalkeeper Caetano Gaúcho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernardo Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Batista came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by RMF FC's Dito Lopez. But to his dismay, Dito Lopez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Winners Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Dito Lopez came free, but Enéas Batista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Lopez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Enéas Batista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Winners Football Club's Enéas Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Queiroz in the 45th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Enéas Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Queiroz in the 54th minute of play. Enéas Batista made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dito Lopez in the 57th minute. Filipe de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Gaúcho having to interfere. Enéas Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Queiroz in the 61st minute of play. Bernardo Queiroz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enéas Batista had great luck who in the 70thth minute grab hold of the ball when Bernardo Queiroz from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Winners Football Club's Enéas Batista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Winners Football Club from getting a goal against them. Jaime Salgado struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Caetano Gaúcho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Winners Football Club. The supporters of Winners Football Club booed when RMF FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Dito Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot. RMF FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dito Lopez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Enéas Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RMF FC's Bernardo Queiroz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, RMF FC's goal looked a bit too open when Filipe de Azevedo came free, but Caetano Gaúcho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, RMF FC's Alfredão de Moraes got a free kick in the 88th minute. Caetano Gaúcho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filipe de Azevedo in the 91st minute of the match. Dito Lopez struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Enéas Batista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RMF FC. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Queiroz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Enéas Batista was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the RMF FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
