Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Alexsandro Barros made the kick off which started today's match. 5 minutes into the match, Alexsandro Barros notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Marangua's Nilton Gonçalves. Nilton Gonçalves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 10th minute Irwin Winkler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dedé Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilton Gonçalves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Azevedo in the 20th minute of play. Alexsandro Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nilton Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Barros in the 23rd minute of play forced Marangua's goalkeeper Nilton Gonçalves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. INTER MB's Enzo Caetano got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enzo Caetano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nilton Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Enzo Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER MB's supporters rose to their feet, but Enzo Caetano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 31 minutes of play, INTER MB's Enzo Caetano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nilton Gonçalves was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Brazilio Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Enzo Caetano came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the INTER MB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enzo Caetano couldn't finish the play. Nilton Gonçalves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Caetano in the 44th minute of the match. INTER MB's Valdir Rossi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save INTER MB from getting a goal against them.

Dedé Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 50th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Enzo Caetano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nilton Gonçalves. The goal made the score 0-3. 58 minutes into the match, Marangua's goal looked a bit too open when Enzo Caetano came free, but Nilton Gonçalves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. INTER MB's Valdir Rossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Breckenfeld in the 59th minute of play. Irwin Winkler was extremely unlucky when he, in the 61st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. João Vítor Gaúcho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdir Rossi having to interfere. Alexsandro Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Nilton Gonçalves made a huge save. Dedé Azevedo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nilton Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedé Azevedo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, INTER MB's Irwin Winkler got a free kick in the 68th minute. After having played for 70 minutes, Alexsandro Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. INTER MB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexsandro Barros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dedé Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Brazilio Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot. INTER MB's supporters rose to their feet, but Brazilio Tasso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nilton Gonçalves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alexsandro Barros struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Nilton Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER MB. 86 minutes into the game, Dedé Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Nilton Gonçalves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 89 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Barros recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nilton Gonçalves. Alexsandro Barros showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. In the 95th minute Dedé Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Gonçalves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. INTER MB's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
