Spectators: 7563 (Terracing: 5673, Seating: 1739, VIP seats: 151) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelo Mesquita took the kick off in the first half of the match. Raí Furlan made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Enzo Caetano sent off a good shot on target. After 5 played minutes Requeijao AD got a freekick which was hit by Michel de Godoi. The supporters of Requeijao AD booed when INTER MB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chiquinho Madureira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdir Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Mesquita in the 8th minute of the match. If Alexsandro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Requeijao AD's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Dedé Azevedo scored to the left of an out of position Raí Furlan, making the score, 1-0. When Angelo Mesquita came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Requeijao AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelo Mesquita couldn't finish the play. Alexsandro Barros struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Raí Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for INTER MB. If Alexsandro Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raí Furlan came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by INTER MB's Enzo Caetano. But to his dismay, Enzo Caetano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Osvaldinho Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 31 minutes into the match, Requeijao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Irwin Winkler came free, but Raí Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Enzo Caetano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raí Furlan. That made the score 3-0 in the 33 minute of play. With a little luck, Requeijao AD's Raí Furlan got control of the ball when Dedé Azevedo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dedé Azevedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Enzo Caetano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Furlan having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 53rd minute, Irwin Winkler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Furlan was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Raí Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Azevedo in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Enzo Caetano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER MB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Raí Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé Azevedo in the 64th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Angelo Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 69th match minute, Requeijao AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Michel de Godoi to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brazilio Tasso in the 70th minute of play forced Requeijao AD's goalkeeper Raí Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Dedé Azevedo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raí Furlan. Requeijao AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dedé Azevedo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Barros in the 77th minute of play forced Requeijao AD's goalkeeper Raí Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Requeijao AD defense, Dedé Azevedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Raí Furlan. The Requeijao AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Raí Furlan should have stopped the shot. Dedé Azevedo took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Raí Furlan. Raí Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. 86 minutes into the match, Requeijao AD's goal looked a bit too open when Dedé Azevedo came free, but Raí Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enzo Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 94th minute, Chiquinho Madureira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 96 minutes, Michel de Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Requeijao AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Michel de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that INTER MB were the better team. INTER MB's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
