Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedrinho Nascimento kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Regina FC's Inácio Proença got a free kick in the 8th minute. Dé Almeida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedrinho Nascimento in the 10th minute of play. Pedrinho Nascimento took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dé Almeida. Dé Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Pedrinho Nascimento succeeded in the game's 17th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. 32 minutes into the game, Edmundo de Azevedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Turkos do RJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Regina FC the free kick. Dé Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Nascimento, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedrinho Nascimento in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dé Almeida saved Turkos do RJ from getting behind. After 42 played minutes Turkos do RJ got a freekick which was hit by Cesinha Meira. 48 minutes into the match, Turkos do RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Pedrinho Nascimento came free, but Dé Almeida reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Regina FC made a substitution. Sílvio Pena replaced Maurinho Netto. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo de Azevedo was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Nascimento in the 54th minute of play forced Turkos do RJ's goalkeeper Dé Almeida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 0-4 became the score in the 59th minute when Pedrinho Nascimento elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Pedrinho Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dé Almeida having to interfere. Regina FC's Wiliam Guimarães was substituted for Douglas Leme. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Wiliam Guimarães managed to get in a good position for a shot. Regina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Guimarães was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dé Almeida breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Luiz Guilherme Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Guimarães got free with Dé Almeida in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 93 minutes into the game, Pedrinho Nascimento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Dé Almeida. Pedrinho Nascimento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. Regina FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
