Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Iuri Gerber got the match started through his kick off. Fiori Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardo Ramalho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iuri Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The FERRÃO fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when FERRÃO's Fiori Matos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fabiano de Souza kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Iuri Gerber who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 21stth minute tested the skills of Bernardo Ramalho when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zé Carlos Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Ramalho having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Cantao's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Matos came free, but Luisão Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29th match minute, FERRÃO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fiori Matos to maneuver through the defense. After 38 minutes of play, FERRÃO's Jorginho Xavier made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisão Botelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! FERRÃO's Fiori Matos got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fiori Matos struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Luisão Botelho didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FERRÃO. 47 minutes into the game, Tião Lara was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cantao's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FERRÃO the free kick. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Cantao:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of FERRÃO:s goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

In the 62nd minute, Fiori Matos made a precise shot to the right of Luisão Botelho. Cantao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. In the 71st minute of the match, Vicente Rossi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luisão Botelho saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. FERRÃO's Bernardo Ramalho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Gerber in the 75th minute of play. Luisão Botelho came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by FERRÃO's Almir Neves. But to his dismay, Almir Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. When Zé Carlos Vidal fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cantao's protests and gave Zé Carlos Vidal a yellow card for diving instead. In the 81st match minute, Cantao was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zé Carlos Vidal to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Jorginho Xavier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisão Botelho. Cantao's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorginho Xavier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Iuri Gerber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded FERRÃO left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Cantao.
