After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Basarab Vrânceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tabajara FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Basarab Vrânceanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renatinho Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Tabajara FC's William de Almeida got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Tabajara FC's zone, Wilson Santos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Célio Eger came out of the goal and Wilson Santos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pass the Joint S.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 33rd minute, when Basarab Vrânceanu scored to the left of an out of position Renatinho Schmidt, making the score, 1-0. Renatinho Schmidt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Cardozo in the 36th minute of play. Jorginho Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Schmidt having to interfere. Basarab Vrânceanu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 46thth minute, Renatinho Schmidt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 48 minutes, Jorginho Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabajara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basarab Vrânceanu to strike the kick off in the second half. If Celsinho Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tabajara FC's Célio Eger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Tabajara FC from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Tabajara FC's Bogdan Elefterescu got a free kick in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Basarab Vrânceanu in the 67th minute of play forced Pass the Joint S.C's goalkeeper Renatinho Schmidt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorginho Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Renatinho Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basarab Vrânceanu in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Renatinho Schmidt saved Pass the Joint S.C from getting behind. Renatinho Schmidt stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basarab Vrânceanu's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. The coaching staff of Pass the Joint S.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Ernesto Chaves had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pass the Joint S.C fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! 90 minutes into the match, Jorginho Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renatinho Schmidt. Pass the Joint S.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorginho Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Wilson Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Célio Eger having to interfere. Tabajara FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
