The referee ignored Tabajara FC's protests and gave Vânderson Domingues a yellow card for diving instead. After 14 played minutes Tabajara FC got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson Domingues. After having played for 20 minutes, Jorginho Cardozo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tabajara FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorginho Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nilson Lara was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 37 minutes into the match. The goalkeeper, Felipe Moraes, was totally fooled by Tabajara FC's William de Almeida, who 39 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Basarab Vrânceanus short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Felipe Moraes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jorginho Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Moraes having to interfere.

After a rather tough play, Nobres Clube e Futebol's Vitinho Marquez got a free kick in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Tabajara FC's William de Almeida broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Basarab Vrânceanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Felipe Moraes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célio Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Negri in the 84th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basarab Vrânceanu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Moraes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Basarab Vrânceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd minute, Luiz Fábio da Mata hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tabajara FC's Basarab Vrânceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tabajara FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
