With an all-out effort, Los Royal Mariachis's Omar Duardo threw himself towards the right post 39 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albertinho Velloso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was a well-played corner which Wesley Valadares managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fellipe Porto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hulk Fenomeno's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Hulk Fenomeno made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goal looked a bit too open when Albertinho Velloso came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fellipe Porto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hulk Fenomeno showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 54 minute of play. Omar Duardo came out of the goal and Wesley Valadares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Los Royal Mariachis's Wesley Valadares got a free kick in the 76th minute. Wesley Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Omar Duardo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wesley Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. Los Royal Mariachis made a substitution. Célio Baiano replaced Wesley Valadares. In the 93rd match minute, Los Royal Mariachis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldir de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. Los Royal Mariachis's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
