The EGPS fans' excitement grew in the 11th match minute when EGPS's Aylal Souza looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers João Pedro Couto in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anastasio Sol saved EGPS from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Júnior Negri who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EGPS's Anastasio Sol was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléber Dias took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Madureira. Virgílio Madureira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aylal Souza in the 59th minute of play forced Clube Athletico Valão's goalkeeper Virgílio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Cléber Dias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Clube Athletico Valão got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Peres. In the 62nd match minute, EGPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aylal Souza to maneuver through the defense. 66 minutes into the game, one of Clube Athletico Valão:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Virgílio Madureira had in the 68thth minute some difficulties stopping Cléber Dias's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Marcelo da Rocha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. In the 82nd minute, Júnior Negri got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Dias in the 87th minute of play forced Clube Athletico Valão's goalkeeper Virgílio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ian do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ian do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Cléber Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgílio Madureira having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, Cléber Dias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgílio Madureira. Clube Athletico Valão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cléber Dias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. EGPS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Clube Athletico Valão for a fine match.
