When Martelet's Luiz Eduardo Lira in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EGPS's goalie prevented a goal. After 7 played minutes EGPS got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo da Rocha. Baldomiro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Sandrinho Vinhas sent off a good shot on target. Martelet's defense didn't have a chance, in the 11th minute, when Aylal Souza scored to the left of an out of position Baldomiro Navarro, making the score, 1-0. Martelet were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after EGPS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frederico Rodrigues took the corner. With a little luck, Martelet's Baldomiro Navarro got control of the ball when Cléber Dias tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, EGPS's Baldomiro Navarro threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aylal Souza, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 22 minutes of play, EGPS's Aylal Souza made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baldomiro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Martelet's Baldomiro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Martelet from getting a goal against them. Baldomiro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cléber Dias's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. After 30 minutes Martelet's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cléber Dias who took care of the corner kick. The corner led EGPS's Cléber Dias to fire away a dangerous shot which Baldomiro Navarro despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Martelet's Baldomiro Navarro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Martelet from getting a goal against them. In the 38th match minute, Martelet was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kusko Galarza to maneuver through the defense. EGPS's Anastasio Sol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Eduardo Lira in the 44th minute of play. In the 46th minute, EGPS's Cléber Dias ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Baldomiro Navarro. Baldomiro Navarro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cléber Dias to strike the kick off in the second half. Anastasio Sol took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Eduardo Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cléber Dias in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Baldomiro Navarro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baldomiro Navarro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandrinho Vinhas in the 64th minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, EGPS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. If Téo Munhoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Martelet's goal looked a bit too open when Cléber Dias came free, but Baldomiro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Eduardo Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Anastasio Sol made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Luiz Eduardo Lira sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Martelet's Ludomir Murdza got a free kick in the 85th minute. Baldomiro Navarro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cléber Dias in the 91st minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Lira kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, EGPS could leave the field as winners, despite Martelet having more of the ball for most of the match.
