Marquinhos Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marquinhos Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quitauna F.C booed when Lucas Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marquinhos Faria didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garry Whalley didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kristian Månsson went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Kristian Månsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Quitauna F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Lucas Juniors! The referee gave Quitauna F.C a penalty, 24 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Cacá Baptista, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lucas Juniors's Garry Whalley. 0-4. Kristian Månsson took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Garry Whalley. Garry Whalley dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Kristian Månsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry Whalley having to make a save. 40 minutes into the match, Lucas Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Kristian Månsson came free, but Garry Whalley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Lucas Juniors getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Edvaldo Fonseca hit a great ball. Quitauna F.C's Kristian Månsson got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

The wind increased when Kristian Månsson made the kick off in the second half. Edvaldo Fonseca hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Enio Agueros short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Garry Whalley to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Garry Whalley made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Månsson in the 72nd minute of play. Kristian Månsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Garry Whalley having to make a save. Garry Whalley was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kristian Månsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-10 in the 77 minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Wanderson Passos in the 81st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Quitauna F.C's Ruben Fjeldberg. Lucas Juniors's defense didn't have a chance, in the 82nd minute, when Kristian Månsson scored to the left of an out of position Garry Whalley, making the score, 0-11. If Kristian Månsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Lucas Juniors's Garry Whalley got control of the ball when Kristian Månsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Kristian Månsson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Garry Whalley. That made the score 0-12 in the 89 minute of play. The Lucas Juniors fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Quitauna F.C were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
